Founded in 2000, Leedarson has four major R&D centers in Xiamen, Shenzhen, Taipei and Atlanta, USA; two major design centers in Xiamen and Tainan; and two major manufacturing bases in Changtai, Zhangzhou, Fujian and Suining, Sichuan. Leedarson has more than 10,000 employees and its business covers more than 80 countries and regions around the world.

Manufacturing Capacity
The two major production bases in Changtai, Fujian and Suining, Sichuan cover an area of more than 500,000 square meters, with self-built vertical supply chains from key components, assembly to packaging. Its independently designed and developed industrial robots and automated assembly production lines have been used in batches, and its automated equipment, automated logistics systems and manufacturing capacity are all industry-leading. In 2016, Leedarson was rated as a "National Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Enterprise" and a "National Two-Informatization Integration Management System Standardization Pilot Enterprise".

Leedarson now has a nearly 1,000-person R&D team of engineers composed of doctors and masters. It has established technical innovation platforms such as "National Recognized Enterprise Technology Center", "National Industrial Design Center", and "China Light Industry Key Laboratory", and has undertaken 12 national scientific research projects such as the National Torch Plan and National Key New Products, and 12 provincial scientific research projects; it has participated in the formulation of 8 sets of ZHAGA International Organization for Standardization LED module international standards, 5 national standards, 1 industry standard, and led the formulation of 1 group standard. It has 58 valid overseas patents and 1,311 national patents, including 720 national invention and utility model patents.
In 2017, it joined the Zigbee Alliance, a global mainstream standard organization for open low-power wireless Internet of Things, as a promoter and became one of the members of the alliance's board of directors (16 worldwide).
