Otis Elevator (China) Co., Ltd.
Tianjin Otis Elevator Co., Ltd. of China was established on July 16, 1984 and opened on December 1 of the same year.
It is a Sino-foreign joint venture established by the United States Otis (OTIS) Elevator Company, China International Trust and Investment Corporation and Tianjin Elevator Company.
Tianjin Elevator Company is the earliest established elevator manufacturer in China. It designed and manufactured the first elevator in China and installed it on the Tiananmen Tower in Beijing.
China International Trust and Investment Corporation is the largest company engaged in international trust and investment business established after China's reform and opening up.
In May 2024, the People's Government of Changsha City, Hunan Province approved the "Investigation Report on the "8.26" Elevator Failure and Injury Accident in Zhongfang Ruizhi International Community,
Furong District". On May 30, the State Administration for Market Regulation interviewed the company and pointed out
